Long time learning

Tracking my Ph.D.

Diary July 2013

1st July 2013 - Finally got enrolled.

8th July 2013 - Finally got the log in working.  I completed the first assessable item of the online learning course.   Finally got the Java program which did all the calculations and created the graphs finished.

9th July 2013 - Cos Ierotheou, my third supervisor, pointed out that I had made a mistake with the headings in the tables.  I had transposed the course titles for the maths and final two computing courses.  This was easily rectified and the new version was sent out to all concerned.

11th July 2013 - The basics of my PhD

12th July 2013 - Corrected the mistake that Cos found in the initial paper on the proposed testing method and uploaded the revised version to this site.

13th July 2013 - Liz sent me the PhD of Muesser Nat and the link to RDA1.  Started reading the PhD - it seems to be the best laid out of the three and much more intellectually dense.

17th July 2013 - Downloaded RDA1 and started to fill it in.  I am not sure what some of the sections are meant to contain so I will have to bring this to the next meeting.

22nd July 2013 to 11th August 2013 - Went on a family holiday and did no work on this PhD.
